Terms of use
The terms that govern your use of this site
Short version: this site is general business guidance. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. The decisions you make about starting a business are yours. The longer version follows.

General-guidance disclaimer
Everything on this site is general business guidance for someone starting a small business. It is not legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, financial advice, or investment advice. We are not your lawyer, CPA, financial planner, or fiduciary. When the decisions touch any of those professional areas — choosing a legal entity, filing taxes, signing contracts, taking financing, choosing insurance — talk to a qualified professional licensed in your state or country before you commit.
We try to be accurate. We may be wrong. Laws, fees, vendor pricing, and program terms change. Verify anything time-sensitive against the source before you act.
What you can do with this site
- Read it. Share links to it. Email a page to a friend. We are fine with all of that.
- Use the recommendations as a starting point for your own research. Most pages name several alternatives and point out who each one is and is not for.
What you may not do
- Republish or rebrand the content as your own. The writing, recommendations, design, and code are ours.
- Use the site to harvest data, scrape at scale, or interfere with how it runs for other readers.
- Use the site to do anything illegal in the jurisdiction you are in.
Links and commissions
We may earn a commission when you sign up through some of our links. The full explanation lives on the how we make money page. In short: it does not change your price, and we recommend tools on fit rather than commission.
Third-party tools and vendors
When you click through to a vendor's site, you are dealing with that vendor under their terms, not ours. Their pricing, features, refund policy, support quality, and uptime are theirs. Our description of the tool is our best understanding at publication time; the source of truth for what you are signing up for is the vendor's own site.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is current, complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We do not warrant continuous availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Angelic Investments and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site, the recommendations on it, or any third-party site linked from it. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us — which is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your use is the one published when you used the site. Material changes will be flagged with an updated “Last updated” date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith conversation may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Saint Augustine, Florida.
